What is it exactly??

The purpose of a Senior Spokesmodel Program is to bring together a team of local energetic, outgoing, and well-rounded high school seniors to be part of themed shoots, attend group activities for team building, refer other juniors and seniors to the photographer’s business, and receive many perks! 

Don't worry, there is no prior modeling skills needed! That is my job, and your job is to have fun and spread the word!!

These styled photoshoots usually include fun themes, different outfits, and sometimes even hair and makeup, with the purpose to showcase the senior as individuals and also as part of the team. It is an incredible opportunity to get many amazing Instagram worthy photos, and receive your own senior session on top of that!

This opportunity comes along in January - February of your junior year! If you follow me on social media, I will be sharing a lot about it before and during the time frame I am accepting applications. So JUNIORS be on the look out!

1. You love having fun!

I absolutely love having fun with other up beat individuals, and that is the reason why I love being a high school senior photographer!

The Senior Spokesmodel Program includes several styled/themed shoots and events that are all about having fun! During these shoots, we will laugh with each other and get to know each other better, and hopefully you will have developed new friendships with each other! The behind-the-scenes are just as fun when you can see some of the silly things we do to get the portraits we want.

You’ll also meet other like-minded your ladies who are there because they want to have fun, too! So, if you are naturally a fun person, who loves to laugh and make friends, the Spokesmodel Program is PERFECT for you!

2. You're on social media

This is definitely a must! Every Spokesmodel Program requires that the senior shares their images, as well as behind-the-scenes from the photoshoots on any, and all, social media platforms in which they are active. Photographers spend hours planning, shooting, editing, and writing blogs that highlight the spokesmodels, and they do all this for relatively the same fee you pay for just one senior session. In return, we want you to share our work, and your opinions on the experience. We want you to share with others what is like to work with us, how fun it is, and ultimately share your beautiful images that reflect our work! 

Sharing on your social media outlets also have a benefit to you: if any of your friends love your photos and want to have the same experience you had, they will book with us, and you will get credit towards things like print products, wall art, albums, and grad cards! Some Spokesmodels are so great at referring their friends to the photographer’s business, that they end up getting all of their products for free with no additional costs!

3. You’re a natural leader

Don’t let the word SPOKESMODEL scare you… you don’t need to be a model, in fact, as a senior photographer, I love when my girls haven’t had ANY modeling experience. Why? Because it’s like working with a blank canvas! I love teaching them the poses and moves for the most flattering and natural-looking portraits. 

What’s more important is that you’re a natural leader! If you are involved in extra-curricular activities, have a determined and strong personality, and have shown throughout your high school career that you are a born leader, then you are perfect for my Senior Spokesmodel Program! This is evidence that you will be physically and mentally present for the entire experience, you will contribute fun and clever ideas, and that you’ll be comfortable sharing your experience with others in your class, or extra curricular activities!

4. You like trying new things

Maybe the word MODEL is a little intimidating. You feel a little nervous at the idea of being someone’s model, and you doubt that you will be good enough or pretty enough. I am not looking for that perfect "instagram model", I am looking for genuine girls who are authentic and have an infectious personality! I am looking for someone who is okay with trying something new, and being okay with stepping out of their comfort zone.

This is a valuable skill to have as you get older, get ready for college and get ready to become an adult. One of my favorite bible verses is

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”- Jeremiah 29:11

When I was anxious and worried, I would look to Him and I began doing things I never thought I was capable of… including owning my own business!! 

So go ahead, push that comfort zone away, and do something that you will cherish forever!

5. You want to make the best out of your senior year!

More than likely when you started high school, you were already looking forward to your senior year, because of things like prom, college acceptance letters, final homecoming dance, sporting events, graduation..etc. I never thought 4 years could fly by so fast, and I'm sure you are now thinking the same!

If you know you want to have senior photos taken for your senior year, then this would make your original idea blown out the water! Let's give you more than a normal senior session!
