When should I have my senior portraits taken?
Usually, senior portraits are taken the summer before your senior year. However, if you don't want, or need a senior yearbook photo, some seniors choose to have them taken the spring of their senior year. Be sure to check with your schools yearbook policies and deadlines!
What if it rains?
I will be keeping an eye on the weather for your session! If it looks as if it will rain, we can move it to a different time/day as soon as possible!
Do you have a style guide?
YES!! And it is packed full with so much great info for you to prepare for your session! I also have a Pinterest that I refer clients to for outfit ideas! Check it out at www.pinterest.com/amandagoralczyk . Softer, more neutral colors flow best with my editing style! But use this session to showcase your personal style and personality!
If you have an idea on poses that you have seen and want to try, I am down to do it too!
Can I bring my parents or a friend?
Yes! I encourage you to do so, as having them there will help you feel at ease, Also, if you are under 18, I prefer a parent to come. I might ask them to hold a prop, or maybe help bring out a few candid laughs by making funny faces behind me! If you want a few shots with a friend we can discuss that!
What should I bring with me?
I would bring something to drink, maybe a snack too. If you have the Deluxe or Premium package, your change of clothes. Hairspray, makeup touch-up tools, or anything else you feel you might need.
Can I use the photos on social media?
Of course! All I ask is that you use the watermarked images I provide you with, or tag my social media account! This helps me get my business name out there on social media platforms!
When will I receive my photos?
The turn around for your proofing gallery is typically 2 weeks. I will send you a link, to the email that you provide me with, that will take you to your online watermarked gallery. From there you choose x amount of photos (the amount included in your package, and/or any additional photo purchases) that you wish for me to further hand edit. The turn around time for final edits (after you let me know you have made your final selections) is typically 1-2 weeks. After I am finished with your hand edits, I will resend you an email with a link to a separate online gallery where you can download your hand edited high resolution photos!

How do I choose a place to take my photos?
We will work together to find a place that complements your style and the look you are wanting to go with for your portraits!
What time is best?
Early morning after sunrise, or before the sun is fully up in the middle of the sky! Or an evening shoot about two hours/hour and a half before sunset! These options make for the best lighting!
Do you recommend professional hair and makeup?
YES, I highly recommend professional hair and makeup! How many times do you get professional photos taken, nevertheless, your high school graduation photos!? Let's get pampered!!!
Should I have my nails done?
I highly recommend having polished clean nails! The poses I will have you do will have your hands by your face and in the frame! You will want those nails to also showcase your style! Love pinks, French, nudes? It adds to your style in your photos!
